After completing my DVM studies at the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine and a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary teaching hospital, I pursued my interest in neurology and entered a three-year residency program.After successfully completing the board exams, I joined the Neurological Department headed by Prof. Merav Shamir and took a clinical instructor position at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. As a clinician in the field of neurology, my scientific interest and work can be divided into two main fields:1) Identification of clinical conditions and development of new methods for the diagnosis and treatment of challenging neurological and neurosurgical conditions, 2) the use of different imagining modalities for diagnosis, screening, and prognosis of neurological diseases.

Lowri Davies

Lowri Davies graduated from Bristol Veterinary School in 1992. She is currently one of only three specialists in the field of Canine Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine working in the UK having successfully passed the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation examination in January 2016. Her interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation developed while working in specialist equine practice and led to her opening the first SMART Clinic back in 2004. Under her lead, the SMART Clinic has acquired a world wide reputation for excellence in the field of canine rehabilitation, sports medicine and pain management with drawing clients from all over the UK and Europe.

Leonardo Meomartino
Professor, Ph.D
I graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 1989 at Faculty of Naples. In 1994, I had a Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Orthopaedics. From 2006 to date, I have an associate professor position at the School of Veterinary Medicine of Naples and I am the scientific director of the local Interdepartmental Veterinary Radiology Centre. I organized several congress and post-graduated courses on Imaging applied in Veterinary Medicine. My current research activities principally concern: bone densitometry in wild animals; diagnostic imaging in rabbits, ferrets and birds; ultrasonography of the eyes in pets and wild animals.

He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Iasi in 2002, after which he attended the master courses in the field of Veterinary Clinical Therapy, the studies being completed with a doctorate in the field of Veterinary Neurology, Advanced veterinary imaging; Electrodiagnostic obtained in 2008. After finishing doctoral studies, Dr. Musteata has attended trainings and research internships at prestigious universities: Purdue University, West Laffayete, Indiana, USA; Ecole Nationale Veterinaire d Alfort, France; Koret VTH, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel; Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Federico II, Neaple, Italy; Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagreb University.

Dr. Pestean graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cluj Napoca in 2001. His may specialty is in veterinary anesthesiology and critical care. Dr. Pestean is Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at the discipline of propaedeutics and anesthesiology.
